Sport Scientist, Fitness Educator and Author is an Internationally acclaimed walking, fitness and wellbeing expert, with over 25 years’ experience in the global fitness industry. As resident fitness expert on ITV's This Morning, LBC radio fitness host and Australia Sunrise TV, as well as fronting Health campaigns for the Daily Mail and the Telegraph her work has impacted participants globally. Published author of 14 books translated into 5 languages (WalkActive Book - Amazon category #1). Her expertise has been sought by The Royal Navy to Reebok, Vitality to Primary Care networks and the NHS. Joanna completed her Sports Medicine Internship at - Virginia Mason Sports Medicine Clinic, Seattle USA.

Joanna is an inspiring Teacher Trainer . As Shape Fitness Education Training Director ( now part of YMCA ) she trained 2000 + instructors, PTs and ETM teachers.
